 Treasurer

 Carlos Ray is a native of Tennessee.  He has been an entrepreneur for over 20 years. Carlos has extensive background in residential/commercial construction and real estate investments. He is the owner of Ray's Barber Shop & Beauty Salon. Carlos is the Co-Owner /CFO of Solid R&C Ray Investments LLC.  He is also Co-Owner/ Tax Consultant for Ray's Tax Services. Mr. Ray enjoys working with young men in the community, mentoring them to succeed in their life goals and endeavors. 

Board Member

Shaina grew up in Northern Virginia and attended the College of William and Mary, where she studied Process Management and Consulting, with a focus on Organizational Leadership. During this time, she met the founders of Living H2O Spiritual Renewal Center, leaning on their guidance and support throughout the years. She also met the man that would become her husband, and together they now have two children. She and her family live in Rockville, Maryland. Shaina has a passion for nurturing children and has excellent multi-cultural skills that is evident in the many acquaintances and relationships she has developed throughout her life.

Thomas Moore is a native Floridian. He received his primary and secondary education in the Palm Beach County School system. Thomas received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1975 and was commissioned as an Army Transportation Officer. He served in the Army for 20 years. After his military service, he spent 16 years as the Senior Army Instructor of the Junior ROTC program. In retirement, Tom continues to serve his community as a volunteer for the Cedar Hill senior center and as a children’s leader for Bible Study Fellowship.

Mignon “Scottie” Moore was born in Detroit, Michigan and received her secondary education in the Palm Beach County School system. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1977 and a Master degrees in Public Administration in 1991 and in Military Strategic Studies in 2003. Mrs. Moore served as a civil servant for over 33 years. After retiring from Department of the Army, she shares her gifts and talents at the Cedar Hill Senior Center, local beading societies, Children's Leader for Bible Study Fellowship, and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She is also devoted to her monthly card ministry which provides encouragement to the ill and widowed.

Andrea M. Jackson is a native of Chicago, Illinois. With more than 40 years of experience as an accountant, leader and visionary, Andrea, along with her late husband Henry Jackson, worked to found an organization that is a pillar amongst minority business enterprises today. Working side-by-side with Henry, they established Jackson Enterprises. As Chairwoman and CEO of Jackson Enterprises, Andrea provides leadership and cultivates the vision she and Henry have for the organization – sharing responsibility through teamwork, mutual respect, empowerment, and has made a positive impact on the community through service, engagements, and concern for the environment.

She serves as President and Chairwoman for Millennium Steel of Texas, LP (MSS) in Princeton, Indiana, and Millennium Steel of Texas (MST) in San Antonio, Texas. She is acknowledged for being instrumental in the success of activities, lectures, symposiums, receptions, historical publications, and special recognition of the African American trailblazers. Andrea is a loyal and committed philanthropist, environmentalist, consultant, and humanitarian.

Originally from Michigan, Kim has called Gainesville, Florida, home since 2008. Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Eastern Michigan University.  She enjoys volunteering with a myriad of nonprofits, municipal and service groups, and has served as a student life advisor at Santa Fe College and marketing, communications, and recruitment director with one of the first online degree programs at the University of Florida.

In addition to Living Waters, Kim serves as a member the Ronald McDonald House Advisory Council, board member of the Leadership Gainesville Alumni Association, and a member of the United Way Community Investment Advisory Council. In her spare time, Kim enjoys hiking and kayaking North Florida’s spectacular springs.

 Sports Director and Board Member 

Ronald "Ron" Strong II is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. His educational matriculation spans all over the world to include Germany, New Jersey, Georgia, Kansas, and Virginia. Upon completing High School in Wurzburg, Germany, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Ronald is a graduate from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and minor in Biology and Chemistry.  He has been affiliated with community fitness centers, Youth Clubs, and presently is a Sports Director in Naples, Florida. Ron has a positive attitude on life and has a passion for mentoring youth.

Roshawnda Strong Ray is a native Texan.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Hampton University. Mrs. Ray has been an entrepreneur for over 18 years. She is a member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Roshawnda is currently the Co-Owner/CEO of Solid R&C Ray Investments LLC, as well as the Co-Owner/Tax Consultant/Notary for Ray's Tax Services.  She is actively affiliated with her community activities/events.  Her ministry involves inspiring others to dedicate their lives to the Lord.
